There is planning consent in place for several detached houses to be built here, on land at the top of Ulladale Crescent, and with an extensive view over the village. However, it looks like no development will be taking place any time soon.

Strathpeffer Primary School and shinty pitch
The school is the blue-roofed building beyond the shinty pitch.
The pitch does not drain too well, and is often waterlogged in winter.
The school opened in August 2000. It currently has 175 pupils on roll, with a further 33 in the nursery.

Disused compound
This is at the very end of Ulladale Crescent, Strathpeffer. There is permission for several large detached houses to be built on land here, and clearly, this compound was erected for storage of materials. However, for whatever reason, the building work has not taken place and the compound stands derelict.

The school opened on 22nd August 2000. The school roll is presently approximately 170 pupils. There are 7 classes in the school and two nursery sessions.
