Former Black Isle Railway Underbridge
Bishops Road passes under the long-closed Muir of Ord to Fortrose Railway line, the bridge now totally covered in Ivy. After passing under the bridge, one can either turn sharp right and continue onto the trackbed of the old railway line where a very pleasant walk or cycle to Avoch can be had, or follow a path up the hill to join the Killen Road

Arches
This is Bishops Road, Fortrose. The stone arch was built to carry the Avoch to Fortrose Railway Line, which is long-closed and the track lifted. A footpath now follows the route of the line. The arch has changed a bit since photographed in 2013 by John MacKenzie (see Image]). The arch on the right is an impressive natural portal providing access to a private house.
