Victorian V R Postbox (disused)
Above is a state plaque which reads - "Acquired for the parish by the parish council of Shotley and by public subscription." Presumably when it was replaced by a new box by the post office.
Below the door is the manufacturer's mark - "BERN'D P. WALKER, EAGLE FOUNDRY, BIRMINGHAM"
