Hitcham village sign
The sign, erected for the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, has a direct message, that the parish has an agricultural heritage. The horseshoes tell of horses, blacksmiths and farriers. The scythe and sheaf, of arable farming and labouring in the fields. All Saints church, Hitcham, Suffolk
This is quite a large, mainly 14th century church that stands in a lovely setting on the southern end of the village. This is the view from the end of Church Lane.
