Every Tuesday (during 2009 at any rate) this articulated "Mobile Cardiac Catheterisation Unit" manoeuvrers itself into the small carpark at the rear of the Martin Corke Day Surgery Unit for the day.

Hardwick Manor drive and parkland

Locked gates, Hardwick Manor
These gates do not look like they have been opened for quite a while. There is a pedestrian gate next to the main access. It seems to be a back entrance to Hardwick Manor, though the road heads off in the wrong direction.
The road past the gates is Horsecroft Road.
Update: Two weeks after taking this photo I passed again and found the entrance no longer looked abandoned, with new fence panels each side of the gate.
