Stoke Street/Burrell Road junction
This is Stoke Street, which was Belstead Road just further up. This is a minor (presumably C road) but if you turn right it is still Stoke Street but is the B1073, while if you turn left, it is the B1073 Burrell Road. St. Mary's; the parish church of Stoke
Stoke was once a separate village until the growth of Ipswich swallowed it up. Even though this is a medieval church, it was altered and enlarged by the architect, Butterfield, in 1870-1.
