The Round House, High Street, Walton
In spite of its name, the building is hexagonal. It resembles a toll house, but is not thought to have had this role as the adjacent road was never a turnpike road.

Footpath to Candlet
The footpath heads towards Candlet Road from High Street. The blue sign marks this as private land belonging to the Trimley Estate and exhorts walkers to keep to the public footpath. The Trimley Estate comprises some 3,400 acres - property originally acquired by Trinity College Cambridge in 1933. At the time the value of the investment was seen as agricultural land with some scope for residential development. Most of the land is still agricultural but the most valuable part of the estate is now the port of Felixstowe.
