Hainault: Huntsman Road
These are post-war semi-detached houses typical of this area of Hainault, surrounding a small green on the north side of Huntsman Road. The centre block of these three probably represents the original style, while the others reflect changes made through the years by the owners.

On the edge of Hainault Forest ? 1978
One of the rare locations where red London buses ran in essentially rural surroundings, this being green belt territory with Hainault Forest in the background. The view is much the same in 2021, allowing for the growth of the plantation in the background, the area now being designated as a country park. The iconic RT type of bus (this is RT2240), introduced in 1939, would finally reach the end of its era just a few months later. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
