Krystel
Located on the A118 High Road on the corner of Clarkes Road, Krystel is a banqueting suite. The ground floor of the building houses a bedding chain. The building itself looks like it was once a department store and was probably designed in the 1930s. It looks like the banqueting hall was housing a wedding reception on the day when this photo was taken. Parking was at a premium and security staff were directing guests to the adjacent car park in the next road.

Thought I'd better get a shot of this in case it disappears very soon! Looking north-northeast.

View of the (now sadly closed) Cauliflower Pub #2
Here's a view of the distinctive frontage of the Cauliflower pub, whose smoking shelter has now become an advertising board for events at Ilford Sports Club just across the road. I love how the pub continued to use the old tradition of blackboards and chalk to advertise its events right up to its end! Looking north-northwest.
