A Pair of Dogs
The picture is of Station Parade Longbridge Rd Barking. A dozen or so years ago everyone knew where you meant when you said "I'll meet you in the Barking Dog". There was only one dog and that was the spotted one in the background with the half timbered gable end. When Wetherspoons opened their new drinking emporium in the retail unit below the office block Tim Martin cheekily named it "The Barking Dog" causing confusion for a while. However the two hounds seem to get on fairly well these days.
