Barking Riverside
Barking Riverside is a huge new 11,000 home development on the old Barking Levels. The land was originally grazing marshes consisting of flat, low-lying grasslands, dissected by ditches and it survived in this form until the 1920s. Much of this has now gone although a few of the ditches have been incorporated into the new development as seen here. In the distance is the bus terminus at Marine Drive

Mysterious factory on River Road
Unlike most there are no indications as to its function outside. I'm guessing it's something official.

The land was originally grazing marshes consisting of flat, low-lying grasslands, dissected by ditches and it survived in this form until the 1920s. That is probably the best thing about the development as the 'architecture' is, to be kind, nondescript.

View of the Dagenham Market building from the market itself
I've no idea what the building's use is - it looks to be a former factory or warehouse, but I don't think it's in use anymore as the windows are smashed and look to have been for many years! But since Dagenham Market moved to this site in 2002, it has always been used to advertise the market. Looking north-northwest.
