Former St George's church and churchyard
The former Anglican church on Haugh End Lane was built 1839-40, architect Edward Walsh. It ceased to be used for worship in 1989 and was sold a few years later for conversion to residential apartments. Listed grade II (list entry 1134543). The burial ground with it is now overgrown. The former churchyard on Haugh End Lane was closed to burials by Order in Council in 1990, shortly after the church itself was closed for worship. It is very overgrown.
