The Friendly Fisheries (established 1897) on the north side of Burnley Road opposite the junction with Timmey Lane, Friendly.

Hoyle House
Built as a farmhouse in the early 17thC for John Ramsden. It was originally five gables, but the left hand two were partly rebuilt in 1885, by which time the house had already been subdivided. It is now four dwellings.

The Friendly Band room, Sowerby Bridge
Friendly is the name of the neighbourhood. This building is within the old Luddenden Foot Urban District boundary, but is now in the Sowerby Bridge postal district. The band moved here from a building further east, now a snooker club, in 1933.
