Old Milestone by the B6113, Greetland Road, North Royd
Carved stone post by the B6113, in parish of RIPPONDEN (CALDERDALE District), Greetland Road: 100m to South West of Sandy Clough, on the verge nearly opposite Crest sign, on South side of road. Erected by the Rochdale to Halifax & Elland turnpike trust in the 18th century.

Greetland Road, Barkisland, at Heath Lea
The old name for Heath Lea was a rather strange one: Horse Godly. The farmhouse is well back from the road, and new farm buildings have been erected over the last century between the farmhouse and the road.
