School sadly now demolished. This beautiful building should have been preserved
The Juniors were on the Ground floor entering by the Righthand door the Seniors entered by the left hand door and went upstairs.

Mersey Infants School. A Child doing exactly what I and my Pals did 45 years earlier - Climbing over the school gates to get into the playground when the school was closed. What! Not a Policeman in Sight! :-)
