Tree sculpture in Marlborough Avenue, Hull
Dragons, mermaids, crosses, abstracts, all have been the subject of tree sculpting on stumps of trees that have not been grubbed up. Most trees have been replaced with younger trees that mature to a smaller size than the woodland trees (mainly lime and sycamore) that they replace.
