Traffic/health advice, Boothferry Road, Hull
One of the many matrix signs on major routes into the city, more usually employed to dispense information on long-term road closures and general driving advice. Here they are used to promote one of the Government stipulations attempting to limit the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus during the 2020 outbreak. (NB: The guidance also permitted citizens to leave their homes once a day for exercise, during which this, and other pictures, were safely taken.)

Going commando in Hull
The banner marks one of the events surrounding the 'Race For Life' to be held on the Costello Playing Fields later in the day.
I can only assume the wording refers to the commando-like skills needed to traverse the – no doubt very muddy – assault course involving the netting and ground sheet seen here. Any other interpretation would be rather pants, or not, as the case may be.
