Strickland Street, Kingston upon Hull
The Strickland Arms, a traditional corner public house that once served the fishing community. Built mid to late Victorian period for Willford's, then taken over by Hull Brewery Company in 1888. Now a free house, trading as the Stricky Arms.

Fishermans Walk, Hull
A short link road between Strickland Street and Madeley Street/the A63 slip road, it is presumably named in tribute to the Hessle Road area's fishing heritage; nearby streets are still home to businesses processing fish, little of it locally caught or landed nowadays though.
