Owner Hotel, Albion Street
Pevsner says "THE INSTITUTE at the w end of Albion Street was built c.1846 for Dr James Alderson, attributed to H.F.Lockwood. A dignified facade of ashlar, five bays, with a porch of pairs of Tuscan columns with balcony above. The ground-floor windows have small balconies and those to the first floor have balustrades."

Wright Street, Kingston upon Hull
Near to the junction with Prospect Street, one of the 'iconic' K6 cast-iron telephone kiosks designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935.
