The Old School House Restaurant, Leven
Towards the end of the nineteenth century the village of Leven boasted two schools. If my memory serves me right this one on High Stile served local girls while the school on South Street served boys until they were amalgamated in the early twentieth century. For many years it was a small cafe and sweet shop until being transformed into the restaurant it is today.
