10 May 2024 | Tickton/Eske. As the weather starts to improve it is likely that we will start to see a rise in calls for service around Tickton Bridge and Eske nature reserve. Retailers are reminded of their responsibility not to sell flour and eggs to youngsters on the run up to Halloween and Mischief Night. Also, keep your valuables in a safe or lockbox when you go out. •Sound advice - Use a plug-in timer for a radio - make it a talk station rather than music. •Windows - Remember to shut all windows, even small and upstairs ones, when you leave the house, in your garden or in the rear of your property. If you're upstairs, close your downstairs windows and if you're planning some time away, get a trusted neighbour to shut the curtains at night. You could return the favour some time. |

4 Nov 2024 | The period from today (Monday 28 October) to Sunday 10 November is always one of our busiest, however, we would like to offer reassurance to those who are looking to enjoy Bonfire Night or those that prefer not to. We want to remind those intent of causing harm or committing offences, that we are out in force and ready to act against anyone spoiling others’ fun.
