View south over Melton Ings
I believe the view point was the top of the Kiln 3 Dryer Tower at the Humber cement plant (see http://www.cementkilns.co.uk/cement_kiln_humber.html ). Beyond is the abrasives plant, and across the river the South Ferriby cement plant (see http://www.cementkilns.co.uk/cement_kiln_ferriby.html ). At the latter, the Kiln 1 stack (left) still stood.
