B?gh a' Chaisteil
This is the part of Castlebay west of the pier and village centre. the church does not seem to be currently in use as such.

Disused church at Castlebay
A church with no bell. Apparently the bell and the slates were removed by the church authorities, the building is otherwise reasonably sound but will now perish if not restored.

Dunard Hostel and Lodge
The lodge is largely used for running sea kayaking trips http://www.clearwaterpaddling.com/. The hostel is a very nice backpackers hostel, much used by people exploring the Barra or touring up the Outer Hebrides by foot, bus, bike or car http://www.dunardhostel.co.uk/.
