Coppet Hill provides a good viewpoint (as good as Symonds Yat but with no crowds). Looking north-east over Kerne Bridge and the river Wye, with some good autumn colour.

Phone box on Coppet Hill
I photographed this phone box - Image] - in January 2015, five years almost to the day before I took this. At the time it was still in use as a phone box; now it seems to have been repurposed as a community information centre.

Viewed in July 2016 when the notice inside this http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5252379 box states that BT no longer owns this kiosk. The telephone equipment has been removed and the kiosk is owned and maintained by the local authorities.

Phone box at Goodrich
Unusually, this red phone box appears to be still in use as a phone box, as opposed to a tiny theatre or a community library or any of the other novel uses it's common to see phone boxes being put to in the mobile phone age.
