Stunted barley crop, Hope Mansell
The long dry spell earlier in the year has stunted the growth of this barley which is around eighteen inches in height. (Unless it is one of those varieties deliberately developed to have shorter stems to reduce wind damage.) View NW along the valley towards Little Perlieu Wood.
