Ledbury Christmas Auction of Dressed Poultry
Viewing before the crowds arrive. An annual part of my Christmas is the Show and Sale of Dressed Poultry by H. J. Pugh & Co., auctioneers. The 200 turkeys are on the right hand side while on the left from the far end we have chickens then geese, ducks, pheasants and partridge.

Auction of Turkeys
A Christmas ritual - buying our Christmas lunch at the auction held by H. J. Pugh & Co every year. A 55lb turkey went for a mere £55! I managed to get one goose and two turkeys this year.

Christmas 2008 Poultry Auction, Ledbury
Annual sale of dressed poultry. Chickens, Capons, Ducks, Geese, Pheasant. Partridge and Pigeons on this side of the room. After the holly wreaths they will start on the Turkeys which fill the other side of the room.

Lots at the Christmas 2008 Poultry Auction, Ledbury
Geese, braces of pheasants, variety packs (one pheasant, one partridge, one pigeon). Other lots included chickens, ducks, turkeys, ready to eat smoked pheasant, etc.
