Rose & Lion - a pub with a unique name
The pub is known locally as 'The Rosie' and is supplied by Wye Valley Brewery. It was built in New Road, Bromyard in 1823 and became a public house in 1848. It is believed to be the only pub in England to bear the name Rose & Lion. The public bar is known to regulars as 'The House of Commons' and the lounge as 'The House of Lords.'

Bromyard Methodist Church
The chapel was built in 1857, although Methodists had been meeting in an upper room in nearby Pump Street earlier in the century. The datestone reads Wesleyan Chapel, MDCCCLVII.
