The gap is between 94 and 96 South Street. The wording on the sign suggests it is not recently created: PROHIBITED ALL VEHICLES EXCEPT PERAMBULATORS AND HAND PROPELLED INVALID CHAIRS UNLESS REQUIRING ACCESS TO PREMISES IN THE ROAD.

Signs at the entrance to Leominster Community Hospital
On the east side of South Street in Leominster. In October 2019 the lower sign states that the hospital has a Minor Injuries Unit but no A&E. The nearest 24 hour A&E (Accident and Emergency) is at the County Hospital, Stonebow Road, Hereford.
