The B4594 Road (Gladestry)
The B4594 road runs through the village of Gladestry in Powys, and on the day when I visited the village, it was very quiet.

Gladestry Post Office
Provides a sterling service for the village and Offa's Dyke walkers alike - but will it be here for future generations if the government gets its way? Information received on 21.03.09, suggests this post office has now been forced to close.

The B4594 Road (Gladestry)
My favourite view of the B4594 road in Gladestry is right here, as Hergest Ridge can be seen standing proudly in the distance, as well as some local landmarks seen in the foreground too.

St. Mary's Church (Gladestry)
This is the main village church in Gladestry, and this is dedicated to St. Mary. Harold Godwinson founded the church not long before he was defeated by William the Conqueror in 1066. Much of the building is original, and the bell tower is the greatest feature overall. Viewed from a path by the B4594 road.

Daffodils in Gladestry
By the B4594 road. Some cheaply-sold eggs were nearby here too, and me and my mum bought some.
