Farmland above Amersham old town
The footpaths do not follow the rights of way here, but more sensibly skirt the various arable fields in this rising land above the old town. This field has been recently sown by the look of it. The old town sits in the Misbourne valley.

Lane from St Mary's Church to Cemetery
This lane from St Mary's to the cemetery is a busy public footpath. At this point the River Misbourne is walled, looks neat and is very narrow. The building on the opposite side of the river is Badminton Court, once property of the Weller Brewery and now offices.
