Tree cutting next to the railway
As we arrived the gang cutting the trees alongside the railway line were just packing up. They seem to have a done a good job here, albeit now exposing all the litter that accumulates in these sorts of areas.

Cycle & Footpath signs Bell Lane
Chilterns Cycleway, public footpath and public bridleway signs from Bell Lane into West Wood at Little Chalfont. This is on the route of the London Green Belt Way which follows the public footpath through the wood on the way to Latimer.

Railway tracks to the north of Chalfont & Latimer station
A 3 track section of the Metropolitan line, the 3rd track (on the right) is used by the shuttle service to Chesham. This layout prevents trains on the shuttle service from interfering with those on the main line.
