Chesham Broadway and War Memorials
The Broadway in Chesham town centre. The statue stands on a War Memorial, dedicated to the memory of those townspeople who lost their lives fighting World War 1 (1914-18). The two stone pillars in front of the World War 1 memorial are further memorials, to those who lost their lives fighting World War 2 (1939-45).

Chesham war memorial
This war memorial stands in a landscaped garden in The Broadway. It depicts an infantryman with his rifle inverted and commemorates those who fell during the first and second World Wars. it was unveiled in 1921. The inscription reads:- To The Glorious Memory Of The Men Of The Town Who Gave Their Lives And To Honour: All Who Served Or Suffered In Cause Of God King And Country Their Deeds Live After Them Faithful Unto Death.
