The Broadway in Chesham town centre. The statue stands on a War Memorial, dedicated to the memory of those townspeople who lost their lives fighting World War 1 (1914-18). The two stone pillars in front of the World War 1 memorial are further memorials, to those who lost their lives fighting World War 2 (1939-45).
