Warning Notice near Frithsden (1)
This photo of a warning notice was taken on a footpath between Nettleden Road, Frithsden and Potten End. It has the following wording: WARNING LIVE ELECTRIC FENCE Please DO NOT touch or feed any animals in these fields due to an outbreak of strangles in the close proximity in the area which is highly contagious to horses and donkeys which can be painfully fatal!!! Thank You. Incidentally, Strangles is a highly contagious upper respiratory tract infection caused by Streptococcus equi, which affects, horses, ponies and donkeys of all ages. So one has been warned!

Warning Notice near Frithsden (2)
This photo shows a warning notice by the footpath between Nettleden Road, Frithsden and Potten End. It has the following wording: PLEASE DO NOT FEED THESE ANIMALS! We have already had one death and another critically ill from being fed leftovers. Thank You. Near this warning notice is a farm where horses and ponies are kept, hence the warning.
