Old Milestone by the A4010, Aylesbury Road
Carved stone post by the A4010, in parish of Great and Little Kimble (Wycombe District), Aylesbury Road; by lane to Old Grange, North of Askett, on wide grass verge between road and hedge, on West side of road. Wycombe rough stone post, erected by the Ellesborough to West Wycombe turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- AYLESBURY (6½) WYCOMBE (?) PRINCES RISBORO (2) Carved benchmark and rivet on top of face. Buckinghamshire HER. Former KX300 Telephone Kiosk near Askett
Situated on the A4010 Aylesbury Road HP27 9LY, this telephone kiosk has a BT notice on its right indicating that it will soon be removed due to lack of usage. A bus shelter can be seen behind the kiosk for people waiting for buses on routes 300, 321 and X30 between Aylesbury and High Wycombe via Princes Risborough. Update: the telephone kiosk has since been removed from this location.

Letter Box Lane and Pound
There is a letter box just by where I'm standing. The small enclosure beyond has a notice saying it's the Askett Pound, a recreation of the old pen where years ago stray animals would be put until their owners collected them.
