Thames Valley Police Information

Thames Valley Police is the largest non-metropolitan police force in England and Wales. We police the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, and serve a diverse population of more than two million, plus six million visitors who come to Thames Valley each year. We patrol 196 miles of motorway - more than any other British police force. The Thames Valley Police force area is divided into 12 Local Policing Areas (LPAs). Princes Risborough Neighbourhood

Every neighbourhood in Thames Valley has a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing team.
Neighbourhood Policing teams can be contacted via 101, the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number. Always call 999 in an emergency.
Neighbourhood Policing teams
Are led by senior police officers and include police community support officers (PCSOs), often together with volunteer police officers, volunteers and partners.
May serve one or several neighbourhoods.
Work with local people and partners to identify, tackle and prevent local, low-level crime, anti-social behaviour, and any ongoing concerns.
Provide you with a visible, accessible and accountable police service and aim to make your neighbourhood safer.
Have been present in every Thames Valley neighbourhood since 1 April 2008.
Focus all of their efforts on their dedicated neighbourhoods, building relationships with local people.

Shoplifting in Princes Risborough

Shoplifting is a national priority and Princes Risborough is experiencing issues in this area. The local neighbourhood team are engaging with local shop owners and store managers to gather intel and discuss measures to deter shoplifting and keep retail staff safe. Under reporting is also an issue and we are working with the retail sector to build confidence and encourage reporting.

Shoplifting in Princes Risborough

Shoplifting is a national priority and Princes Risborough is experiencing issues in this area. The local neighbourhood team are engaging with local shop owners and store managers to gather intel and discuss measures to deter shoplifting and keep retail staff safe. Under reporting is also an issue and we are working with the retail sector to build confidence and encourage reporting. We are monitoring 2 prolific offenders in the area and building on local intelligence to reduce these crimes. This issue is ongoing and remains a priority.

Anti Social behaviour earl Mitchell park area and George & Dragon pub car park.

The neighbourhood policing team have received reports of ASB involving off road motorbikes in the park area and surrounding woodland and fields. We are conducting regular hi visibility patrols to deter this behaviour and gather intel to identify offenders.
We are working with the landlord and local licenced premises to deter drug related ASB in the pub car park and gathering intel to identify the offender. Any offenders will be dealt with robustly.
