The thatched cottage is from around 1800, the houses replaced a single bungalow in a large garden in around 2014 according to Zoopla.

Squatter Cottage, Oving

The Old Chapel
Hardly necessary to display the name of this house! A barely legible plaque above the door survives from its days as a chapel. The part of the building on the right looks like a later extension when it was converted into a dwelling.

Pulpit Lane, Oving
The buildings in the background belong to Bushy Farm. I've been unable to find out the origin of the name. Presumably there was a wayside pulpit round here.

It may look rather lifeless but there was plenty of bird life in evidence in and around these hedges, including fieldfares and a wren.
