Aylesbury: County Hall, Walton Street
Not to be confused with Image, this is County Hall in Walton Street, the main office building of Buckinghamshire County Council http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/bcc/home/index.jsp whose red and black flags flutter outside. It replaced Image, and was designed by the county architect C Riley around 1929.

Aylesbury's Iconic Tower
The main offices of Buckinghamshire County Council. Uniquely inspired creation (1966) of the county architect, F B Pooley in the 'brutalist' style, it is the target of a vociferous lobby for demolition.

Aylesbury Bus Station
Aylesbury's cavern-like bus station seen here mid-afternoon with departures for the town and surrounding countryside. Despite good lighting and electronic information screens the place struggles to seem remotely inviting.
