Aylesbury: Former Congregational Church Tower
Modern office blocks have nestled up to the tower of the former Congregationalist Church in the High Street. The church existed on this site from 1874 to 1980, the last eight years of which were spent as the United Reformed Church following the merger of the Congregationalist Church with the Presbyterian Church of England in 1972. Aylesbury's United Reformed Church is now at Rickford Hill.

John Hampden?s statue in Market Square
This bronze statue of John Hampden 1594-1643 by Henry Fehr stands in Aylesbury Market Square. He lived at Image and was the foremost of Buckinghamshire’s parliamentarians in the run up to the Civil War. His colleague, Arthur Goodwyn, wrote of him, "he was a gallant man, an honest man, an able man, and take all, I know not to any man living second – I would lay it to heart that God takes away the best amongst us".
