This photos shows the banner and notice to commemorate the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday afternoon 8th September 2022. The notice has the following wording: Insignia of a Crown In a time before mobile phones, people were informed of a death by Royal Mail. The envelope carrying the news was always edged in black. The Jubilee scarf has now been framed in a black border to commemorate the loss of our late Queen Elizabeth II.

This banner was put up following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September 2022. This shuttle bus is waiting to depart outside Prestwood Village Hall on route 41 to Amersham-on-the-Hill as Wycombe Road is closed between 2nd and 14th April 2024 for sewer repairs. This bus, being one of two to operate this Service, is a 2007 Scania N230UD with East Lancs Olympus 79- seater bodywork. It was new to Reading Buses as no.836, then moved to UNO Buses as no.209 before being withdrawn from service by that bus operator. Now it is owned by Chiltern Automotive Ltd of Cryers Hill, Bucks. Update: the Shuttle Service finished on Tuesday 9th April 2024, with Carousel Buses resuming services on route 41 the following day.

This shuttle bus YN07 LFB is waiting outside Prestwood Village Hall to run to Amersham-on-the- Hill via Great Missenden and Old Amersham. The shuttle service is running from Tuesday 2nd April to Sunday 14th April 2024 due to the closure of the A4128 Wycombe Road during that period https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7741137 refers.
