Front of Bouquet House, Prestwood (2)
Taken in January 2000, this photo shoes the front entrance in the block to the right of the photo. Formerly an old people's residential home, it was closed shortly after this photo was taken and the residents transferred to Cherry Orchard Residential Home in Maybush Gardens, Prestwood. Bouquet Close is now on the site of this former block of flats.

Front of Bouquet House, Prestwood (1)
Taken in January 2000, this photo shows Bouquet House in Hildreth Road, HP16 0LX. It was an elderly persons' home owned by the Chiltern Hundreds Housing Association. Shortly after this photo was taken, Bouquet House was closed and subsequently demolished. Bouquet Close, a cul-de-sac of twelve houses was then built on that site.

Back of Bouquet House, Prestwood
Taken in January 2000, this photo shows the back of Bouquet House from the path in Groom Road. It contained flats for elderly people to live in, but it closed shortly after this photo was taken and Bouquet Close, having twelve houses, was built on this site.

Trees in Westrick Walk, Prestwood
This photo is taken in Westrick Walk HP16 0RZ looking east towards Wren Road. To the left of the photo is an elder tree whilst that in the distance is an oak tree. Its girth has been measured about 342cm (134.65in) which would possibly date it from about 1740.

This photo shows Westrick Walk looking towards Wren Road. To the left of the photo is an oak tree with white three-cornered leek (Allium triquetrum) flowers below it. On the right outside No 16 are blue Forget-Me-Not (Myosotis) flowers in bloom.

Wren Road, Prestwood in the snow
Taken earlier today, this photo shows Wren Road looking South towards Lodge Lane following heavy snow. Unfortunately, this road, like other residential roads in Prestwood, hadn't been gritted so making it difficult to drive along it. The postcode of this part of Wren Road is HP16 0SB.

Day Centre in Wrights Lane, Prestwood (1)
Taken in June 2001, this photo shows the entrance to the day centre at the West end of Wrights Lane where people living in the nearby flats could meet. The notice on the wall says that parking was for residents and visitors only. This day centre has since been demolished to allow for additional car parking space.

Taken in June 2001, this photo shows the day centre at the West end of Wrights Lane HP16 0LG with a post box in front of it. Since this photo was taken, the day centre has been demolished to allow for extra car parking space and the post box moved across the road.

This BT notice is one of several appearing in telephone kiosks throughout the United Kingdom informing people that these kiosks will shortly be taken out by BT due to lack of usage.
