Wooden Gate at Bledlow Ridge Telephone Exchange
This large wooden gate is in front of the telephone exchange in Chinnor Road, https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1140143 refers. Since that TE is set well back from the road, it is thought unlikely that many people would notice that building while passing it whether by car or foot. However, some curious person would no doubt want to peer beyond that gate and see what exists there!

Bledlow Ridge Telephone Exchange
This dark wooden hut is situated in Chinnor Road, and has the code SMBDG. It provides telephone and broadband services to approximately 360 residential and 27 non-residential premises in the Bledlow Ridge area. The louvres hopefully keep it air-cooled, whilst the yellow bin contains grit salt to be used when the path gets slippery with snow or ice. Its numbering range is (01494) 481xxx, the (01494) referring to the High Wycombe group of sixteen TEs, and its postcode is HP14 4AW.
