Black Well at Lane End
This former well is in The Row HP14 3JS, and dates from about 1850. It was restored through local effort in 1986, but is now kept securely locked.

Blackwall Road, Lane End
The original village of Lane End was an old settlement along the B482, but the late 20th century brought a big expansion with suburban style development of land between the old village and the M40.

Handleton Common, Lane End
The northern end of the common which stretches into the village centre is bound on its eastern side with bungalows. An older flint house is to the left.

Former Methodist Church, Lane End
Opened in 1866, this church is situated in The Row, in the centre of the village. The final service was held there on Sunday 30th March, 2008. The Bakery cottage can be seen on the right. The postcode for the church is HP14 3JR.

Lane End: Former Wesleyan Church and former bakery
Here are two buildings that once performed vital functions in village life, now converted to private residences. The date in the stone plaque above the windows of the attractive flint and red brick church is 1865.
