Tucked away out of sight for the most part in this grid square, Hughenden Stream drains off from the Hughenden estate into the River Wye. Because of the chalk sub-surface the stream is often dry and here, at the backs of the gardens of the houses in Hughenden Road, serves as a catch channel for all the urban litter that gets blown or dumped into it. This is taken from the bridge of the public footpath running south from Hughenden Avenue and crossing the stream.

This photo shows the entrance to this pub in Bellfield Road with the wooden bridge in the foreground crossing over a stream. It was opened in the 2010s and offers food and drink daily. In the background on the hill to the extreme left of the photo are houses and apartments in Gandon Vale, which were built to meet an increasing need for housing in High Wycombe.

Situated off Hughenden Avenue HP13 5SG, this bus depot houses about 46 vehicles operated by Carousel Buses in High Wycombe and the surrounding area. The red bus behind the van is 503 (OU57 FGX) an ADL Dart 4 of 8.9 metres long with ADL Enviro 29-seater bodywork dating from 2007. Incidentally, ADL stands for Alexander Dennis Limited which is the UK's leading bus and coach manufacturer.

Situated in Bellfield Road HP13 5HP, this pub is named in honour of High Wycombe's history as a mill town. The river Wye that runs through that town was used to power mills from the 11th century and, over the years, these mills have produced everything from woven cloth to paper. Lace manufacturing became a huge part of the town's economy in the 17th century and remained as such until the 19th century. To reflect this, the name "Spindle and Thread" was chosen.

Situated in Hughenden Boulevard, these recently built apartments are just north of High Wycombe town centre.
