This bridge carries the Chiltern Main Line over Cookshall Lane in West Wycombe. The abutments in the foreground carried the old Wycombe railway single track before the line was rebuilt and doubled in the early 1900's.

Old Milestone by the A40 in West Wycombe
Carved stone post by the A40, in parish of West Wycombe (Wycombe District), High Street; at junction of A40 with A4010 to Aylesbury, opposite garage, on grass verge beside fence, on North side of road. Dashwood stone obelisk, erected by a private company in the 18th century.
Inscription reads:-
