Bluebell Inn, Arkendale
This public house is now closed and looking the worse for wear - particularly sad for me as I had a job here one summer during my misspent college years, the restaurant being packed out most evenings. There is evidence of builders and skips around, so there maybe plans for its future. I understand planning applications have been made for refurbishment - so all is not lost.
