The site of the castle in Hutton Conyers
There is not much to see apart from the shape of ramparts. It was a Norman castle but was destroyed by Henry II, and so has been left to decay for a long time.

Hutton Conyers green
A similar view to one I took in 2013, so what has changed? Very little apart from the removal of a black litter bin. The seat is still on the green for the benefit of aged 'geograph' contributors to sit and soak up the sun.
