Half Moon Inn Sharow
Sharow is an odd village with no defined centre. The village pub is on a quiet lane leading to the hall.

Sharow Lane
The main street of Sharow is now something of a backwater as through traffic in the village uses Dishforth Road which is a short distance to the north and is usually busy. The house in this shot is the Manor House which is 18th century and grade 2 listed.

The Gate House

Roadside Well in Sharow
An interesting roadside feature in the village. There is an inscription carved into the stonework, but it is badly worn, although two dates - 1790 & 1835 can just be made out.
