Disused George V Postbox, Ripley
This postbox is set into the wall of the Post Office which is part of the Town Hall building. The racks in front of it are used to sell potted plants.

1-10 Main Street, Ripley
Estate cottages for Sir William Amcotts Ingilby, early/mid 19th century. Two separate blocks, in mirror format, both Listed Grade II.
The telephone kiosk is also Listed Grade II.

Ripley Town Hall
Distinctly over-the-top for the size of village, and calling it Hotel de Ville is definitely affectation. However, if you are the local Lord, and have plenty of money, you can do what you like! Built in 1854 and dedicated to Sir William Amcotts Ingilby, who commenced its construction, by his widow Louisa. It was the last building of the village to be built. Listed Grade II.
There is a flush bracket bench mark http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2710020 on the near corner below the green notice on the wall.

Ripley Town Hall
