Cast iron post by the A61, in parish of KILLINGHALL (HARROGATE District), Ripon Road; Southern end of Killinghall, by village sign, on East side of road. Ingram iron casting, erected by the Harrogate, Hutton Moor & Ripon turnpike trust in the 19th century.

CAV is for Mark Cavendish. The road was closed for the Tour de France Stage 1 (Leeds to Harrogate). Children were being given chalk to decorate the roads.
